Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Rivals Randomizer at rivalsrandomizer.org. The short version: the randomizer itself runs in your browser, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not want your personal details. We do use a couple of standard, privacy-respecting analytics services and we display ads, and this page describes exactly how those work and what control you have over them.
The tool runs on your device
When you roll a hero, filter by role, set up bans, build a team or spin the wheel, that logic runs client-side in your own browser. Your filter choices, ban lists and roll history are computed on your device and are not transmitted to us as personal records. There is no login, no user profile, and no server-side account tied to you. If your browser stores any of your preferences, that data lives locally on your machine and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payment details or game account information to use the randomizer. The only time we receive personal information is if you choose to email us — for example to report a roster error or suggest a feature — in which case we obviously see your email address and whatever you write, and we use it solely to reply to you. We do not sell, rent or trade that correspondence.
Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
To understand how the site is used and where to improve it, we use two anonymous, aggregate analytics tools. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) helps us see things like how many people visit, which pages and tools are popular, roughly where visitors are located by country, and which devices and browsers they use. Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how people interact with the layout — for example which buttons get used and where a page might be confusing — through aggregated metrics and anonymised interaction data. Both services collect usage data, not the content of your rolls, and we use them to make the tool better, not to identify you personally.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. You can review Google's at policies.google.com/privacy and Microsoft's at privacy.microsoft.com.
Cookies and similar technologies
Rivals Randomizer, along with the analytics and advertising services above, may use cookies and similar technologies such as local storage to remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve ads. Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies while keeping the site functional. Note that disabling cookies may affect how some features remember your choices between visits.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This site is supported by advertising, and we work with Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you personalised ads based on your browsing. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and how advertising cookies work, at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of personalised ads from many other vendors at aboutads.info/choices. If you are in a region that requires a consent prompt, you will be asked for your advertising preferences and can change them at any time.
Children's privacy
Rivals Randomizer is a general-audience fan tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information — for instance through an email — please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of the analytics providers named above and is used only in aggregate form. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up. Preferences stored locally in your browser stay on your device until you clear them. Because the tool is client-side and account-free, we simply do not hold large stores of personal data about visitors.
Your choices and requests
You can control cookies through your browser, opt out of personalised ads through the links above, and use browser extensions or "Do Not Track"-style tools if you prefer. If you have a privacy question or want us to delete any email correspondence we hold from you, write to sukielovesupport@gmail.com and we will help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or as our tools change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy. For more about who we are, see the about page, and for our content standards see the editorial process page.
