Sukie Gao
Founder & Editor, Rivals Randomizer
Sukie Gao is a hero-shooter player and the founder of Rivals Randomizer. She keeps the roster, tier data and guides in sync with each Marvel Rivals season.
About Sukie
Sukie Gao started Rivals Randomizer out of a simple frustration: the randomizers she kept finding online were fun for a week and then quietly fell out of date, handing players heroes who had been reworked or missing the ones who had just released. As a hero-shooter player who follows Marvel Rivals season by season, she wanted a tool she could actually trust — one where the pool always matches the live game — so she built it. Today she runs the project's roster, keeps the tier and comp data current, and edits everything that publishes.
What Sukie works on here
Sukie writes and edits all of the guides on Rivals Randomizer, from the hero and role reference pages to the tier list, the best team comps breakdowns, and the explainers on how the game's random pick works. Every page you read on the site passes through her before it goes live: she checks that heroes are filed under the right roles, that recommendations reflect the current season rather than an old one, and that the writing stays clear instead of padded. She also keeps the randomizer's underlying roster in sync on hero release days, which is the part players rely on most.
How she works
Sukie's approach is to treat the live game as the source of truth, corroborate anything contested against reputable coverage, and be transparent about tooling — articles are researched with AI assistance and then edited by her before publication, with the roster verified by hand. You can read the full method on the editorial process page. If you spot a roster mistake, she genuinely wants to hear about it — reach her through the contact page or by email at sukielovesupport@gmail.com. You can also learn more about the project on the about page, or head to the homepage to try the randomizer she built.
